"Girl with a Pearl Earring" is one of the most famous paintings in the world and the pride of the Mauritshuis, The Hague, Netherlands.
This exhibition has been made possible by the museum's temporary closure for renovation.
Martine Gosselink, General Director of the Mauritshuis, comments: "For the Mauritshuis, the Girl's journey is a special opportunity to share her with the Japanese public, perhaps for the very last time."
This exhibition presents an exceptional opportunity to view masterpieces of 17th-century Dutch painting through twelve works from the Mauritshuis collection, including Johannes Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earring" and "Diana and her Nymphs".
